Today we will discuss:

Part 2 of Disassembly of Fixed Displacement Motor Series 40

Take the thrust plate from the housing.

If you have a date code of 86-23 : The slot in the motor housing was changed in the size of the thrust plate tang in how it went into the slot.

Next take the bearing retaining ring from the housing and the shaft and bearing assembly.

Lastly take the retaining ring from the shaft and  press the shaft out of the bearing, along with the second retaining ring from the shaft.
