You can put in or take out the orifice to the cartridge valve cover to help the performance of the system. When looking on the mode code chart if the code has a letter or a number code after the design , then the orifice is put in the correct port location that is different from the usual assembly.

That is why it is important to always know the model code, model numbers, part numbers and serial numbers. Each number or letter in that code means something and helps with ordering or when you give it to a repair shop.
