Europe’s solenoid is larger manifold to give clearance in between the solenoid and the front of the MDC housing. The newer manifold will stick out closer to the mounting flange, making it a .2 in lesser in size.
When you have the thicker manifold it has longer screws and you can use it with the US and Europe models. And the larger model will no longer be available as a service part.
