Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Direct Displacement Control Part 2

The direct displacement control are on variable pumps, tandem pumps and variable motors.

When there is no external forces are put on the swashplate trunnion the internal hydraulic forces, sometimes will not return the swashplate to the neutral position under all conditions of the operation.

On external control handle requirements the highest trunnion torque is 700 in lbf for M25, M35 and M44 units. The least amount of torque is 20 in lbf to hold the swashplate at a zero angle . The trunnion angle in its maximum is 15 degrees for M25, M35 and M44.
