Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40  Response Time

The response time is when the output flow has enough response time to change from neutral (acceleration) to full flow back to neutral  (deceleration). It is a mode that has to do with the size of the supply orifice in the control inlet passage and the size of the drain orifice in the control sleeve.

There are all different sizes of orifices to go with the rate of swashplate response time to the acceleration and deceleration needs of certain applications.
