This service bulletin lets us know that Sauer is putting in an addition to it’s fixed motor, endcap and housing: a dowel pin.
The housings and endcaps you can interchange with the older parts, you just want use the dowel pin. The new endcaps and housing come with the holes for the dowel pins and dowel pins are included.
But like all new improvements, the older parts will become obsolete.
