Manifolds have a station that consists of pair of end plates that lets in/out of air that goes to the end plate and the cylinder ports go thru the bottom. A pilot signal can be provided from the bottom or side. On the valve interface thru ISO compliance. You can get the manifold put together by certain parts number and a compartment that has more than station in it. Also you can can it put together by the end plate kit, it helps with the dual pressure for the isolator discs. It helps with putting it between the manifold station to work several areas in the manifold system to help give pressure when needed.

On a side ported base there are 4 sizes and five ports. This helps by offering the use of an external pilot that provides ports to use solenoid valves and they can help with the air pilot port for air working valves.
