NSS – neutral start switch
Sauer put this switch in so that when the pump starts up, it has to be in the neutral position in order to work. It is a safety feature to prevent the pump from starting up.
This switch is wired into series with the engine starting circuit that can tell if it is in the neutral position, so the engine will not start.
There is two ways to get the switch:
A. screw terminals – no connector
B. two way sealed connector
