Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Name Plate and Bar Code Tag

The name plate on the pump or motor will be located on the housing.

It will have the model number, model code and serial number.

The model number is used for that specific unit. And you will always need that when wanting to replace it or order parts.

The model code defines that specific unit. This also will be needed to order another unit or parts.

The serial number will tell you the build date and the unit sequence build date. And it tells about the warranty on that unit. And again, you will need this to order parts or another replacement unit.

And the bar code on the tag tells you the ID number and the serial number if you scan it.
