Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Auxiliary Pad

The auxiliary pad is used under the case pressure, you will need an oring to seal the auxiliary pump mounting flange to the pad. The drive coupling is greased by by oil from the main pump case.

All the mounting pad standards are met by SAE specs.

The pad shaft torque and  main pump torque doesn’t need to go over the highest level of pump input shaft rating that is on the chart.

Torque values can be a 58 flc shaft spline hardness on mating pump shafts. Spline tooth wear is based of a continuous torque specs.

Procedures that have a worse than normal vibrating or high “G” loading can need an extra structional support. You don’t want leaks and damage your mounting flange.
