Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 – Case Pressure & Speed Limits

The case pressure cannot out do the continuous case pressure. If it exceeds the continuous case pressure it will operate under cold start conditions. If you run it this way, it will have external leakage that affects the seals, gaskets and the housing. See the diagram.

The speed limits that is being advised at full power conditions at it’s highest value.  If you go the maximum speed rated, life of the unit may fail and the drive line power may go out. And you must be able to have braking capabilities  in order to stop and hold the unit in case the drive line power does go out. See Diagram.
