Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Changing the Front Cover Screws

This change affects the M46 variable pump, variable motor and tandem pump. It has changed the auxiliary A pad seat square shape to doughnut shape. The sealing is the same either designs of the pad, it is just with the doughnut shape it makes putting it together much better.

If you take out the pad cover you will need an oring to put in the seal joint. The oring is a 70 durometer  oring x 103″ cross section x 3.237 ID. You can get these at your local supplier of sundstrand products.
