Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 15 Pump/Motor Circuit

The description of a Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 15 hydraulic transmission is made up of a variable displacement axial piston pump that is combined together in a closed loop to a fixed displacement axial piston motor. The variable displacement pump is determined by a prime mover (internal combustion engine,electric motor, etc) and the fixed motor that is directed by the fluid from the pump, that compels the machine (vehicle, hoist, conveyor, etc.). The system pressure is decided by the machine load and the direction of the resolution of the fixed motor output shaft relys  on the flow from the pump also.
