The muffler will need to be aligned in hood opening before you can torque the cap screws, washers and nuts for clamp (4) and support bracket (9). Put in enough washers (17) between muffler collar halves (19) to make sure it is a snug fit around the muffler and solid cap screw joints.

Give enough leeway for the collar has enough space between ends of collar and hood  (1/8in).

Cap screws (18) & nuts (16) will net to be tightened down.

 

1 – muffler                                                                   10 – washer 2 used

2 – cap screw 2 used                                                  11 – nut

3 – cap screw 2 used                                                  12 – cap screw

4 – clamp 2 used                                                        13 – lock washer

5 – washer  2 used                                                      14 – clamp

6 – nut 2 used                                                              15 – exhaust extension

7 – washer                                                                     16 – lock nut 2 used

8 – cap screw 2 used                                                   17 – washer use if needed

9 – support bracket                                                     18 – cap screw 2 used

19 – muffler collar 2 used
